My aim is to change slides in a PowerPoint presentation running on a computer(PC2) from another computer(PC1).
I know how to send command from one computer(PC1) to another(PC2) and vices-versa. I know how to utilize the command coming in from PC1 to PC2(on which the ppt needs to run) to start the powerpoint ppt but I don?t know how to changes slides in the ppt.
To changes slides in a ppt, OFFICE allows me to do it on mouse click or automatically after fixed time, but I don?t find an option to changes slide when something else happens. I guess I need to write and embed a macro in the ppt that can hear from an external application and do the slide changes as and when needed. Correct me if I am wrong, there may be many ways to achieve it but I thought that this could be one way. Please advice on this way as well as any other ways possible to achieve the sole aim of changing slides on a ppt running on a computer(PC2) from another computer(PC1).
