I recently moved a customer’s data from a computer with 2 partitions on the hard drive, all of the default settings for Outlook (including the .pst and .ost files) were set to the d: drive. The computer I moved the data to has only a c: drive and now when I try to access Outlook (2003) I get the message do not have permission to access d:\data\outlook\outlook.ost. How can I change that default. I did copy the users entire profile over to the new computer and I image that is where the problem is but I don’t know where I can change it, short of creating a new profile and loosing all of the rest of the settings.
