problems on Mac osx 10.4.10 is this product Mac compatible

I have recently purchased this adaptor and I am using it with Mac OSX 10.4.10 my G5 can send files to my Nokkia 6230 but I can not seem to send anything from my phone to my G5 it keeps saying that there is a perrmissions problem and that I should move the folder to another drive. This I have done and also I have checked mmy permissions which allow the folder to be used and still the same problem occurs.

I have gone to my nearest apple store and have sucessfully been able to transferr data to and from their machines. I am wondering wether I need to down load some form of firmware or driver for this device
