problems trying to find my posts

Is there a problem with the forum’s search function or the way that I am using it? I seem to be having problems trying to find a post I did 3 days ago. I can only view the post via my Workspace. I assume I can use words from the title of the post which does not work for me. I am also wondering if the post ever did get out there since I never did receive any replies.Thanks
