Producing CDV utilizing MPEG-4

I’m trying to convert D2 digibeta video to mpeg-4
and record them onto CDR. I know that most of the
DVD players support CDV and allows any CDV format
CD-R to play, but I don’t know if it is possibe to
MPEG-4 to record on CD-R in CDV format.
Usually CDV’s are created with MPEG-1.
If it is possible what kind of S/W and H/w do I
need to do so?
