Profile lost in Outlook 2K

While moving some messages from my Inbox to my personal folder for offline access, my Win98SE machine rebooted for some unknown reason. When the machine finished booting, and I logged back into my company’s Exchange Server via VPN, my personal profile path was missing. There were 1000’s of messages in this folder. Is there a way to determine what happened and where all of the mail is located that I had stored there? – Thanks
