Profile Your Users

We are embarking on an exercise to profile our users so that we can determine their existing and future technology requirements ie: Power User; Standard User; Mobile User etc.

One of the outcomes of this project is to ensure we develop a process whereby the same profiling can be undertaken on a regular basis to assist us with business justifications for equipment purchases, and ensure our users always have the right equipment.

I’m interested to know if any of you guys have been down this track and would appreciate your advise before we get going.
