Yesterday, I posted a question in regards to one of my computers having a problem with the *.pst file for MS Outlook. Basically I can’t open any e-mails or anything else that has to do with the pst file. I have tried renaming the original pst fileand naming the backup as the one that Outlook looks at and that didn’t work. The Inbox Repair Tool stops mid-scan because of corruption. The answer that I got yesterday told me to reinstall Outlook and reestablish the Personal Folders again. I did this and everything worked great so I closed the question to find out that once the computer was shut down for the night and re-booted this morning it was corrupt again. The Inbox Repair Tool worked for one or to emails only to crash again. Does anyone have any advice as to how I can save this *.pst file with out deleting it and recreating it. I hope so…..Thanks.
