.PST gone away…

With Windows 2000 pro I removed a user from a domain and set him up to be in a workgroup … and his PST is gone ? Is there any way to retrieve it? Tried readding to domain, and also looking for it while logged on as adminsitrator and found nothing…its gotta be on there somewhere yes?
