PST Item count

Our Exchange server was getting a bit full, so we’ve got an archive system for users to access.

To work this we archived of all mails pre November 2007, this has now been uploaded to the new system.

before we go live and set mailbox quota’s we want to ensure all mails were copied across.

now the Archive system tells us the full item count, is there anyway to get an item count out of a PST file??

i need help with this!
