Reletionship between Forward Schedule of Changes and Release Schedule

I would like to clarify how a Forward Schedule of Changes relates to a Release Schedule. For example, all proposed changes are added to the FSC – are they then also added to the Release Schedule who shows when they are to be deployed. What is the difference and dependencies between the two tools?
