In order to share some common documents between a domain user and local user on my Laptop I pointed the local users profile path to the domain users Profile. Unfortunately I forgot to also place the emails from this profile on the same location.
I needed to undo this action earlier today and so simply renamed the profile path back to the original name….with very detrimental affects.
The Three PST files that formed the majority of email data on this laptop seems or have disappeared completely, with the only PST files now existing are ones that the system set up when I then re-logged onto Outlook. It is still trying to point to the old PST files but obviously failing.
Any help recovering these PST files would be very gratefully received.
I have tried running searches on all connected drives. I have tried 3 separate file recovery softwares, all with no success.
