Restoring lost files?

I’m working with a client on an issue with his Tru64 4.0G server. They do their weekly backups every sunday night. Tuesday someone by accident deleted a hundred or so documents that were created between sunday and then. These documents are neededpretty bad.

Is there anyway to recover these? Possibly a purge directory or something?
