Saved DialUP Networking password is lost

I use dialup networking to connect to a local ISP every 30 minutes to send and receive Internet email from my cc:mail system. Intermittently (once a day to once every several days)the dialup networking password gets lost even though “Save PAssword” was checked. This has happened on a WIndows NT Server 4.0 and Windows NT Workstation 4.0 system. I would appreciate any insight one of you NT guru’s could offer.
