SCANPST.EXE,Error Encoutered. Now What?

Hello,
I tried to archive my messages in Outlook 2000. I received an error and was told to run the Inbox Repair Tool.

I ran SCANPST.EXE and after Phase 4 was told it had encountered an error. Then it quit.

I searched the MS KB but could not find anything that specifically addressed this.

My .pst file is a little over 2MB (not 2GB).

Has anyone dealt with a similar problem?
