Send a worksheet as an email attachment through outlook

I am not able to send an active worksheet as an attachment through excel using outlook. When I am in excel I click “file”, “send to”,”mail recepient as attachment”. I know there is a setting or settings in outlook for me to have this functionality. I appreciate any help in this.
