Setting up web host company

Hi, i currently manage several websites for clients and provide extra services such as audio/video and other extra web site services. I am looking into being a web host provider and was looking at the dell webpowerapp server and was wondering what else i need. I know i need a high-speed dedicated connection to a co but what are the adv/dadv of going directly to a C/o instead of a provider (security maybe)

i guess what i am looking for is a summary of what i am going to need (hardware and service wise) and what i will need to setup (security and software) as well as the approx price for this to be done.

any info would be greatly appreciated!
