Shopping for Mac or PC?

I am currently debating whether to buy a Mac or PC. I recently read an interesting blog that provided a pretty balanced critique of getting either one.

Before reading the article, I was leaning in the direction of Mac because of the virus protection; my last pc was fried from viruses. However, it appears that PC is cheaper to upgrade and get parts for. Yet Mac is supposed to be easier to use…I also think they look cool.

Well I guess I am torn on where to stand on this mac vs pc issue.
