Should I tell a vendor who beat his bid?

Yesterday I chose a vendor for our police departments new MFP copier. Two vendors in particular had worked long and hard for the bid. Of course the winner was pleased. Now the loser wants to know who he lost out to and what machine was quoted.
During the bid process I had the vendors ask me who they were up against but I declined to comment. What do you think should I let that out now that a quote has been accepted?
