simplify access table format

I am using omniform and microsoft access XP. I export with omniform to Access. The table is always re-written. When this happens, my formating of this table is also erased. I have a dummy table formated corectly that i copy and append to. I then copy and paste that table back over as the original table(rewrite). I have tried making a macro and i can not get it to work, is there anything easier to format my table?
