Solid Edge Insight Connect & Excel VBA Programming

Does anyone have any idea how to open a Solid Edge Insight Connect (*.pcf) file from excel using VBA?
I have all the required references and I can get Solid Edge Insight Connect to open but not the file I want from a cell on sheet1.
I keep getting an error or incorrect procedure with a shell function.
The only way around this seams to copy the file path and go start run.
Any advice on what syntax to use would be great!
P.S.
By the way this is coming from someone who has a very limited knowledge with any form of programming!
