SQL Server 2000 Hostname Incorrect

I have an Access app connected to SQL Server 2000 via linked tables. When I look at the SQL’s current process information, all the users hostname’s are not registering as their workstations but that of one of the developers. Has anyone experienced this before and if so why it is occuring?
