Sticky Keys and the Lock Computer function

I have set up a user with Sticky Keys and all works fine, with one issue. (XPpro/SP2) The user is in a high traffic area and has set up the workstation to lock itself (screen saver with password) after about 5 minutes, we have found that during the unlock process the Sticky Keys functionality doesn’t work. Is there any kind of tweak or some setting that I am missing that will allow the Sticky keys to work from the locked screen?
