Subject line text size too small after using color feature in inbox

I showed workshop participants how to use the color feature to flag messages in the inbox from specific users. A student has told me that now her subject line text for inbox messages that have/had color applied has changed to a very small font size. She tried removing the color, but the text size didn’t change back. Any suggestions as to how to fix this? She wants to be able to read the subject lines.
