Confused about which Ghost to buy!
I would like to be able to take a ‘snapshot’ image of my entire WinXP O/S along with all of my user settings, and software that I have just installed. The reason? If I ever have to reformat my drive, I would not have to spend two days installing software, configuring their settings, etc.
It is my undersating that Norton (Symantec) Ghost is capable of doing just that, BUT there are apparently two versions from Symantec:
1) Norton Ghost 10.0 (Link: http://www.symantec.com/home_homeoffice/products/backup_recovery/ghost10/index.html )
2)Symantec Ghost Solution Suite (Link: http://www.symantec.com/Products/enterprise?c=prodinfo&refId=865 )
Apparently Norton Ghost 10 has a ton of ‘backup’, and recovery features, but no where does it mention about ‘OS imaging’ like the other Ghost does (Symantec Ghost Solution Suite).
Which one should I get?
