Sync Outlook2k public & private folders

We are using Outlook 2000 with Exchange 5.5. We have calendars in the public folders listing and some users want to automatically synchronize their private calendar to their public one (and public to private). Is this possible? How would I do it. The only thing I can find about synchronization is for offline stuff which doesn’t pertain to this. Thanks.
