SysPrep and Ghosting

I am looking for a solution for my Win2K Pro imaging. I have SysPreped a machine. In unattend.txt I have added addtional IDE controller names. I would like to create an image which will work on ALL IDE systems regardless of if they are ACPI or not. Of course, when I say ALL IDE systems, it means ALL the ones supoorted by Microsoft via ide drivers built into Win2K. I am looking for script, pointers, modifications or any help I can get.
