System past POST but cannot boot-up.

This particular PC, a Pentium 200 MHz, with 32 MB EDO RAM, and a Fujitsu 2.1 GB HDD on Win95 platform will boot-up past POST. System will then hang or stop responding after ESCD at ” Starting Windows 95 “. Any idea what’s wrong with the PC?
