The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence

Or is it?

Keep in mind, while you’re looking over the fence at the grass on the other side, there are people looking back at the grass that’s growing under your very own feet.

The question, therefore, is this. How does one decide whether his own grass is worth cultivating or that it’s time to move to a new pasture?

Another question: Where is grass the greenest (and I don’t mean in the environmental sense)?

What’s behind my decision to start this discussion?

My own answer: I’ve not given up on cultivating my own grass. I simply have too much invested to move to another pasture – AND the ground is still too fertile to totally abandon.
