The “[i][b]Theory[/b][/i]” of Evolution, is it over?

The THEORY of Evolution talks about life evolving to adapt to it’s environment.

Mankind, in it’s assumption that the world should be preserved and not allowed to change, is it halting evolution?

Is this the end of the line? If we really came from something else, does that make THIS our last phase of development?

What is next for the theory? Does it only try to guess where we came from, or can it also guess where we will go?
