Transparent LCD Screens at CES

Watched a demo on the prototype transparent LCD screen that was shown at CES.

The thing is really cool. The only drawback was that the screen was only 40% transparent. Like looking through sunglasses.

I can see some auto maker trying to stick it in a car. Like cell phones the insurance industry will get the lawmakers to pass laws banning them.
