Unhost IP address

Hello,

An illegal IP address is passing traffic on my network.I am using a linksys router for my firewall but i couldn’t block that IP address.
The illegal user is using 255 as an IP which is higher than the size my subnet because any attempt to filter such IP will prompt the following error message:”IP value out of range [1-254]”.
Please kindly advise.
