Union? Is this the beginning of the end??

I am looking for point of views. Considering talking to the international about starting a IT Union for benefits and to have a voice in congress and washington about the H1B, b.s. when we are all struggling to get employed. Please give me some yea,nay and a brief paragraph that I can use why, or why you dont support it.
