Using Norton Ghost

I bought a hard drive the other day, and I wanted to put everything on the new drive. It’s a larger drive then the old one. I tried using Norton Ghost to copy from the old drive. I was successful doing it, but the new drive won’t boot up. Is there anyone who can tell me what I did wrong. Thank you and I hope you can help. Thank you!!!
