Very Long Post Time

I have an Intel board that is taking 5 1/2 minutes to start doing a memory check. It hasn’t always done this, but I have had freezing problems. Sometimes I get a message that my system clock is not right but when I check it is all fine. Any advice on what this could be? I am up for some suggestions.
