W2K Lost My A: drive and Can’t Find it

Help! At some point, I don’t know when, W2K lost my A: drive. I discovered when I went to load from a floppy, and the drive isn’t there, not in Explorer, and not in Command Prompt window.

It is in BIOS, and Win 98 finds it no problem. It is in device manager, and enabled in the only H/W profile I have. I have uninstalled it, and on reboot, Found New Device Wizard reinstalls it, but it is still not available in Explorer.

I have gone through Admin tools; it is not in removable media, not indisk manager, not anywhere I can find.

Anyone have any other suggestions?
