I am producing a Web Site for a national non-profit youth athletic association that will at first contain about 20 pages of information and links. I will then be developing an interactive data base system for registrations, tournament info etc and making it available to public. Most important is for administrators to update database from remote sites (tournament gyms, hotel rooms etc) for immediate updates of results, brackets and game schedules.
Where do I begin looking for a Web hosting service? What qualifications should I look at. We are a non-profit organization, funding solely by donation, and therefore have a financial constraint. I am proficient in the programming and development, so we don’t need that service. We just need the host computer that provides quick efficient reliable secure service. ( I am using Flash,Dreamweaver, and XHTML. I will use CGI, Perl, Java Script) for data later.
