What else do I need to replace a MoBo?

by fcui21 . Updated 19 years, 5 months ago

Hi, I am about to replace a dead Motherboard in a dead PC (Emachines W2888). I’ve done some reasearch and found the exact type of MoBo I need (ATX Socket 478 boards). I found some nice deals on Ebay for a MoBo ranging from $30 – $60. They are indeed bargains but they do not include any instructions or more importantly, software. Do I need a software to install a new MoBo? If not, how do I go around the process? Per the usual, thanks!
