asking which of these 4 would be most valuable to you:
A) an implantable browser in your head to look things up
B) RFID chip in your hand to ..
C) a brain search engine, to index everything you know to find quick
D) a brain backup so you would never forget anything.
I’d like to say that A was not my choice, after battling with finding stuff on google and yahoo, that would only make my frustration 100x faster. And I’d hate to click on a malware trojan site with a direct connection 🙁
Nor was B my choice, no one wants implanted chips because of the 666 factor. Their wording on this was screwy.
Add similar instead: fingertip scanner: scan a URL in a magazine, upc codes at stores and lookup prices via your brain’s wi-max conx…
and add dift type sensors, (too much like the Borg?), e.g. a removable finger, if you’re out hiking put finger on rocks, see if you struck gold (silver / platinum etc)
C seemed to be the majority choice, how cool is it that you could remember exactly where you saw something, e.g. for the TR online debates.
D – I was tempted by this, backup my brain to a future USB or BrainMax wireless interface to a (probably holographic storage?) 750Terabyte Western-Sea-Tachi quantum dot flash drive

My addition: Dream recorder. I have incredible sci-fi dreams that seem to be beamed directly into my brain. Directly from the Galactic Computer, such as the one Bender talked to while floating in space on Futurama recently?

Regardless of whether I am synthesizing them or residual quantum flux or alien transmissions induce them, I could make a fortune as a script writer / director if I could remember them in detail.
