What is the implecation of two ip addresses with a VPS

Am trying to purchase a vps from one of the companies that host vps. I have looked at a number of them to make a choice. Some are offering 2 dedicated ip addresses whiles others are offering only one. I want to know the implecation or advantages of either 2 or 1 dedicated ip address on the vps.
