Where to put laptop Ghost images

I’m using Norton Ghost to create images for laptops that are used in a pool for travelling staff members. My plan is to re-image the laptop whenever it is to be used. The problem is that my Ghost image won’t fit on a CD even with maximum compression. Laplink takes forever to copy the file across to the second partition. Any ideas?
