Every time I post a tech question, I never get answers on this forum.. Is this because…
1. nobody’s seeing this-
2. IT folk are too clannish to respond to non-it folk-
3. my questions are too stupid to even consider answering-
4. everyone’s busy at work-
5. maybe they just don’t know the answers-
6. maybe its being posted without proper (or wrong)tags-

Question – Post 1 of 1 why is there a greyed out ‘find target’ box?
Finding shortcuts that have been moved is easy; trying to locate a program when the ‘find target’ box has been greyed out is not so easy. Where is that program hiding?
A manual search revealed nothing. Could it be the program only exists on,(and was installed from)a CDRom, and therefore is not on the harddrive?
UN-RELATED Q: If I delete a program icon (not the shortcut to it)will I damage the installed program, or am I just deleting setup files?
