Hello to all you ghost monsters out there!Here’s my problem. LAN Admin recently created a ghost server with windows XP image. Unfortunately the pc’s that have been ghosted are being returned to the heldesk area for repair. The problem is No Video. I have noticed that after several reboots the pc loses video, causing a blank screen then the LED on the monitor goes from Green to amber Orange I have taken the following actions to try to resolve the problem.
Swapped Memory
swapped MB
updated Video Drivers
updated System Bios,booted to sfe mode,Last known Good configuration, VGA mode, ect”
And for everyones information the PC model is: DEll Optiplex GX280 and the image was created on a GX260. Does anyone out there have a solution to this problem? For everyone’s information I was not in charge of the ghost image project. Please help!
