Windows XP Fault

Problem – Cannot open
1. Microsoft Office outlook
2. Calculator
On the start menu the icons of these programs are the same as the Microsoft office Word icon.

How the problem started.
3 weeks ago. A user had been using the internet before the problem. He had been asked to switch off after use by pc owner
Next day the PC is unable to open the referred programs.
