Wireless connection lost.

I am replacing all of our present switches and hubs with Cisco3524 XL’s. Up to this point I have had minimal problems. When I replaced a switch at the end of our network via a fiber connection, the wireless section of our network was dropped.
When I replaced the Cisco switch with the old switch and the old SC to ST connection, I could see the wireless part of the network again.
I have Cisco switches connected to fiber in other parts of the network. They all work fine without any problems.Any Ideas?
