Word 2003 cannot recognise Word 2000 datasource for mailmerge

I have standard letters mail merging with a csv file of names and addresses – works fine with MS Word 2000, but MS Word 2003 says the datasource is an invalid format.

Anybody know what’s wrong, and how I can fix same?

(I presume it’s going to be the same with other versions)
