Word 2007 issues

Been having eratic behavior for ms word 2007 on all machines on our network. Sometimes word will not open, not print, do nothing. We just intiated roaming profiles and it seems the problem is different when different users log in. its not local to the machine or consistent. i know this is a broad question but if anyone has experienced this problem before any help would be apprectiated
