I really need someone to show me a Step-by-Step Show&Tell How2 for the process of creating an XML file from an XSD schema file using VB.NET. I’ve watched hrs of vids & read a crapload of articles on XML, but almost all start with the XML file & then create the XSD from that. I don’t have that luxury as that part of the program hasn’t been created yet. All I have is the report document(without any data) to be populated via XML.
I found a tool Utiware SchemaXpert 2007 Pro, but I don’t know how to use it. They say I can take an XSD file and autoconvert it to an XML file filled with dummy data base upon the Schema. However, there are some steps in between that I either don’t know about or don’t know how to impliment.
I did figure out how to create the Schema.vb file using the VS2005 Command Prompt & this command: xsd -c -l:vb XSD.xsd
