XP box not available through Ghost or SPManager

I have a 30 computer AD domain with 5 XP Pro boxes none running SP2 yet. I have 2 programs that need to access them SPManager to push updates to them and Symantec’s Ghost Solution Suite that I can create and restore images. I can see the NT40 and the W2000 boxes but the XP’s are “access denied” or failed to connect, etc. I have FULL administrator rights on the W2003 server & XP Pro that is hosting both programs and F/P sharing is checked. I use static IP addresses and can ping and command line into the boxes from my administrator’s login. HELP!!
