YTD total in a current cell

I’m stumped.
if A1 has a weekly changing number, let’s say $200, I want A2 to be the YTD total.
So A2 this week will be $200.
Next week A1 will be $100.
I need A2 to add the new entry and say $300.
Appreciate any help on this.
